I earned an undergraduate degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and began my career as a financial analyst. I understand how investors look at valuations of start-up businesses and know how obtaining patent rights can be quantified in dollar terms.

Because I saw how crucial intellectual property is as a driver of value in today’s global economy - and I believe it will become even more central in the future - I went to law school with a total focus on learning everything I possibly could about intellectual property. At UCLA Law School, I fell in love with the complexity of patent law itself as well as the myriad technologies which inventors discover. You will see if you work with me how much I enjoy this practice.

Since beginning in this exciting field, I have learned many things that are often overlooked by most patent attorneys. For example, the interplay between patents and other types of intellectual property protection is very important but poorly understood. I know how to maximize the use of all types of intellectual property protection, patents as well as copyrights and trademarks, for maximum commercial advantage. Trademark law relies on many of the same concepts as patent law and I aim to leverage my patent law expertise for the benefit of trademark clients as well.

I also possess technical knowledge in a wide range of fields. I have handled patent drafting in the software, electrical engineering, mechanical, chemical, and biotechnology fields and am comfortable with any field of technology. There are hardly any inventions which I am not capable of fully understanding.

I am available at your convenience to discuss your needs. I offer flexible fee arrangements and am happy to provide a free consultation.
